A Sailors Delight!

This morning I woke up to a storm & Max telling me that the power was out…at 4a. Who cares?? Who even notices a blackout when you’re sleeping?? Max does, that’s who.

So he got up to investigate & then get ready for work. He left around 5.30a & literally 2 minutes after he pulled away the power went back on! So I went back to sleep & woke up to clear skies & hazelnut coffee!

Anyway, we figured there would be a storm today, not just because Max has a radar app, but we went out to dinner last night & the sky was insane! We met Max’s parents at a seafood restaurant with live music & such a nice view! When we got there half the sky was black & the other half was pink but we went there to see the band & they were outside. By the way, I don’t know what the name of this band was but they were great & their drummer was unreal!


Today, I guess there are thunderstorms all over the city but, like I’ve I said before, I’m in an office with no windows, so I have no idea what’s going on out there!

Hopefully kickball isn’t canceled tonight, though!
