Finding it hard to fall asleep? Here are some tips for getting a good nights sleep!
1. Lavender essential oils…a dab will do ya!
2. Read a book…turn the TV off & grab a good book to help your eyes get sleepy.
3. Lights off…I have a salt lamp, bathroom night light & white Christmas lights that I turn on at night instead of having on harsh bright lights in every room.
4. Power down…I’m sure you’ve heard this tip before but it really works, I can’t fall asleep with a TV on but find myself scrolling through every timeline & unable to fall asleep…see tip 2, I read a book instead.
5. Light a candle…candles, to me, are very calming & help me get in the bedtime mood.
6. Tea…I love a good decaf cup of tea before bedtime & before I brush my teeth.
7. Comfy PJs…nothing says bedtime like a cute PJ set. Getting comfy cozy for bed is the best part of my night.
8. Blankets…I always add an extra blanket to the end of my bed so my feet don’t get too cold during the night.
9. Temperature…I always turn the heat down before I go to bed. There’s nothing worse than waking up in the middle of the night because you’re sweating!
10. Potty…okay actually there’s nothing worse than waking up in the middle of the night & having to GET UP to go potty.
