If you know me, you would know that me & working out have a love hate relationship…
I love the feeling after a good workout but actually getting to that point…well, I hate!
I hate getting up early for a workout but then I hate getting out of work & going to workout. I hate putting on tight pants & tights sports bras that just get tighter after you sweat. & there it is…I HATE sweating, ugh…the feeling of sweat dripping down my face or body! The only thing that gets me through a workout is the post workout feeling. I love pushing myself & feeling the endorphins after a really good workout. Getting out of the shower & feeling happy & clean is the best feeling in the world…well, definitely up there with clean bedding!
This summer I really pushed myself to workout as much as I could, sweat & ALL! I did most of my workouts outside in the sun (with sunscreen) making it 10x hotter & me 100x sweatier but I really wanted to push myself to stay active all summer & continue to through fall & winter!! Winter is the hardest season to stay motivated, so I figured if I pushed myself all summer I’d encourage myself to continue pushing myself or at least stay in the same shape all winter instead of having to start all over in the spring!
I think it’s working because I even have been working out SOME Sundays! I even workout during my time of the month, which is also a pretty hard time to motivate myself to workout.
If I can keep myself motivated through the winter to stay in shape, I want to push myself to start doing HIIT or weights, instead of just cardio! The feeling of making a goal & fulfilling it is great, so we’ll see.
