During quarantine I worked out almost everyday. Quarantine started in March so being up north it wasn’t exactly key weather to be going for walks everyday & being active outside. So I did my best motivating myself & finding at home workouts to do on YouTube, Zoom, etc. For the past month, however, it has been beautiful so I have been taking advantage of the local park & going for walk alone or with Russell!
I don’t use equipment when I workout…I really try to keep is as low resistance as possible (also, I’ve moved so many times all my “equipment” is in storage). So anyone can do any of these workouts that I have been following. As for walks…all you need are Airpods to listen to your favorite Podcast (that’s what I do) & a good pair of sneakers!
Favorite YouTube Channels:
I LOVE doing yoga, it’s always a workout you can fall right back into even after not doing it for a long period of time! Also, my friend teaches yoga for a local studio, so I would sign in for her Zoom Flow class. If you can still support a local business I would 100% recommend checking out studios in your area & seeing what they offer!
These are my FAVORITE. You will find whatever you are looking for on this channel. I love that she has workouts as short as 10 minutes and as long as an hour. So you can pick how long you want to dedicate to your workout. Or depending on your fitness level, she has low impact & high impact workouts. I usually start with a warm up & go from there usually picking about 3 10 minutes workouts followed by one of her cool down videos!
I like her channel because she has different challenges depending on your fitness level. Her workouts are very intense but sometimes you need a challenge to get your booTAY back into gear!
This was my original favorite for at home workouts. This channel is what introduced me to at home YouTube video workouts & they will always be a program I recommend. I have been following them since I graduated college & always will! I still use all the eating habits I learned from them & continue to do so to this day!

Now for favorite Podcasts to listen to while walking:
I’m so basic & I don’t care it’s so good & funny! I LOVE the topics they talk about, the guests they bring on, their personalities, etc! Even if you don’t watch Vanderpump Rules I think anyone would enjoy it!
This is such a good podcast if you want tips & tricks for the bedroom 😉 or sometimes horrible dating advice LOL but all in all this podcast is one of my favorites & always makes me laugh!
This was actually the first podcast I ever listened to besides Stassi Schroeder’s. But this one is so informative & I feel so educated after every episode. The guests are great & I LOVE all the topics they talk about, not to mention I LOVE their relationship! Lauryn actually has her own blog, which was one of the reasons I started my own!
This was the first podcast I ever listened to & really got me into podcasts, especially while working out because you don’t need to set a playlist, it’s like you’re just listening to your friends talk about stuff you’d be talking about if you really were with your friends LOL it’s like having friends in your head!
I LOVE Keaton, I LOVE her YouTube channel & now I LOVE her podcast. She is a college graduate but she is very mature beyond her years. There aren’t that many episodes but enough to get you started & definitely interested!
