We stayed with Max’s parents in Sarasota County & had the best time. We went kayaking, laid by the pool, went to the beach & then spent a day in Universal just the two of us.
I’ve only ever been to Universal a few times but Harry Potter world once & now twice.
This time there was Diagon Alley, where we had Butter Beer & we got to take the Hogwarts Express over to Hogsmeade, where I was the chosen one for a little presentation they put on in Olivanders! We had lunch at Hog’s Head, rode all the rides & when Max had enough with The Wizarding World of Harry Potter we walked over to Marvel World. Our last ride of the day was The Hulk, which was a great way to end the day!
The next day we went to visit his friends in Naples & ended up going parasailing! It was pretty amazing once my feet were back on the boat & I was still alive. That night we went downtown & had dinner & did some bar hopping! The next morning we headed back to Max’s mom’s place & packed for our flight home!
Our flight was delayed but because we had to get the rental back we headed for Tampa a little earlier than we wanted to. I was so excited, though, because I’ve never been to Hooters & there was a Hooters right around the block from the rental place & Max called to let them know we would drop the car off later! If you’ve never been to Hooters before I recommend the fish tacos, especially if you’re in an area where it’s fresh!
We made it in about 1am & had to work the next day so went straight to bed when we got home around 2am!
