As many of you know I am a pescetarian, which means I don’t eat meat other than fish. I also don’t really eat dairy because I get a little or a lot sick…so if I splurge it’s gonna be on Mooney’s mac & cheese! When it comes to how I eat I’d rather use a vegan cream cheese & nut milk & be able to eat REAL mac & cheese than anything else. Yeah, it’s that good. Strategically it’s usually when I’m in for the night…AHA!
Anyway, Max is not a vegetarian, pescetarian, or anything other than a meat eater, so grocery shopping together is a little hard. We have made it work, though! We buy the same bagels only different cream cheeses, we buy the same vegetables only different butter, we buy the same tortillas only different meat & meat substitutes! We love taco Tuesdays because we can eat all the same except for the protein, so I usually make shrimp tacos or soy meat & Max makes regular taco meat!
Also, Max doesn’t bring a lunch to work & I do so when we go grocery shopping he doesn’t buy as much as me because he eats out everyday & I don’t.
Groceries can be expensive but in my opinion it’s a lot cheaper to meal prep than to buy lunch everyday, even if that means drive-thru food or take-out…sorry not sorry, Max!

2. Salad mix (kale, remain etc.)
3. Fruit (pomegranate seeds, bananas etc.)
4. Beans (garbanzo, black etc.)
5. Gauc & chips
Bonus: Oreos
Max:
1. Cold cuts (ham, salami etc)
2. Hot dogs
3. Bread (sandwich bread, bagels etc.)
4. Nuts (cashews, peanuts etc.)
5. Chips & Bison dip (onion dip)
