Happy 4th of July!

Last week was such a blur, I swear it flew by! A couple work days dragged but 4th of July weekend/week came & went!

Max & I actually had a lot planned this weekend. Usually we just hang out at the beach but this weekend we had more planned than just that!

Saturday, we were supposed to go to a beer tournament at our friend’s house but the weather didn’t look promising so it was cancelled. This worked out well because Katie moved Friday so I got to check out her place & help her make her bed aha! After that Max & I planned on going out to my gram’s to spend the night but we ended up meeting Courtney & Kenny out, so we drove out early the next morning.

Sunday ended up being a beautiful day, which was perfect because I had a baby shower for Max’s cousin & he was going to the diaper party. The shower was so cute, it was at a beach community club & the theme was nautical so it was literally perfect! The shower started earlier than the diaper party so it ended earlier so the girls ended up crashing the diaper party! Afterwards we went to the Beach Club & I 

met a lot of Max’s friends from that area. It’s out by my gram’s, so we didn’t have to drive back into town afterwards we just stayed at my gram’s for the rest of the weekend.

Monday, I have to say, was the best. We hung out by the pool all day & after dinner went go carting. Liv & I won in our double car! After that we went & got ice cream, watched fireworks & ate s’mores! It was the perfect summer day even with the beach being one rock as the shore…

On the actual 4th we did the same thing. We just hung out by the pool all day & somehow wearing 50spf I still ended up burning the shit out of my shoulders. Late afternoon we took off to Max’s mom’s house for a cookout! We played a bunch of yard games & left just in time to make it home for fireworks which we ended up missing anyway because we were so tired we turned back & went home to bed.

Today, I am exhausted…literally cannot wait to just watch The Blacklist tonight & go to bed!
