Happy Easter everyone (a day late)… But a lot happened this weekend!
First things first, Friday I had the day off from work so my mom, Olivia & I went to get pedicures & ran some errands. Olivia was getting restless so we went back to my mom’s to olor eggs with my brothers & Jr’s girlfriend Sara.
That night I had plans to go for Max’s brother’s birthday dinner so I went home & took a nap & started getting ready for the night. We went to Tappo for some pasta & then headed out for some drinks at a local bar. There Max bought another flower to add to the vase.
Max & I didn’t stay out late because this happened Saturday!
My cousin got engaged! It was the cutest set up that her fiancé had planned for months prior to the actual proposal. Her finance is literally so romantic (he was born on Valentine’s Day). He started the morning by having a limo pick her & her best friends up to go get manicures & pedicures & take them to brunch. He then had all her family & his come out to my Gram’s house (she lives on the beach). This also happens to be Alison’s (my cousin) favorite place in the entire world! When the limo arrived he blind folded her & walked her down to the beach where he popped the question & when she said YES we all popped the champagne! It was a wonderful day!
Easter Sunday was pretty chill. I slept in pretty late on Sunday, even Max woke up before me, which gave him time to go to his grandma’s & pick up the basket he made for me! YES, I got 2 Easter baskets (my mom still does them, too)! We spent the morning rummaging through our candy & getting ready for the day. Max & I went to brunch with his family & then headed from there to my gram’s house for Easter dinner. We didn’t stay as long as we usually do, following the entertainment the day before & had a pretty chill rest of the night… I’d say it was quite the eventful Easter weekend!
Now I’m at work & lunch is over…but I got here super early this morning! I LOVE the longer days. I feel so productive getting in a getting shit done! Plus spring clothing…

P.S. I ate a lot of food but not that much candy this weekend. Last weekend Max & I bought chocolate from the Broadway Market & have been eating it all week, which caused us both to break out & be more cautious of our chocolate intake! AHA
