Molly’s Bridal Shower!

This weekend recap is going to be different this week because I feel like Saturday & Sunday deserve separate posts. First off, Friday I had a lot of running around to do & then Max & I met for dinner at Bone Fish…DUH! We both had to be up early Saturday so we went straight to bed when we got home.

The next morning, Max had already left for work by the time I got up so I didn’t have to tip toe around while getting ready. I had a bridal shower Saturday for one of my best friend’s from college. I had a bit of a drive to get to Molly’s shower so I left 2 hours early to get gas & make sure I wasn’t late. I got there right on time!

The invitation said castle but I guess I didn’t put 2 & 2 together ‘til I pulled up to a freaking castle! Literally, it was like the scene from Bridesmaids when Kristen Wigg is driving down that long driveway & gets handed “fresh” lemonade…the place was stunning & so was Molly when I made it to her brunch. I actually didn’t even recognize her because the last time I saw her she had bleach blonde hair & now it’s brown.

Her bridal brunch was so beautiful & the room we were in looked over the water. I mean it was perfect for a princess like Molly! I just LOVE her! Every time Molly & I are together we can’t stop talking, to the point where we were getting kicked out because we didn’t realize how long we were talking aha! I wish I could’ve stayed longer but Max had bought tickets to the movies that night with our friend Jimmy, so I left.

When I got home Max was in the shower & Jimmy walked in 5 minutes after me. I changed out of open toed shoes (only painted the toes that were showing right before I left for the shower…) 

& we headed down to the taste of Buffalo where we met up with our usual group of friends! We got some food & a lot of wine & then left for the movies. We saw Spider Man & I fell asleep right before the final fight scene…it was such a good movie though, I laughed out loud through the whole thing!

Once again, we went straight to bed when we got home because Max had to work the next day & I was just tired…it was almost 2a!

Now I’m just eating pancakes while checking my work email…I like to do this right when I get to work to sort of ease into the day & make a priority list. I was here super early this morning because I got up when Max left for work to workout & during yoga I didn’t feel well, so I stopped & made pancakes & started getting ready! After work, I’m going to take Russell for a walk & go to Moe’s with my sister & hopefully color her hair. We were supposed to do that last weekend but it was such a busy weekend we forgot, so we’ll see how tonight goes!
