So if you couldn’t tell, spring has officially graced upstate New York with its presence like a bad boyfriend (on & off). Max & I finally did our big spring cleaning day/never ending week, I’ve been going to the park more & all together have been doing more outdoor activities.
Everyone around here looks forward to this time of year where the days are longer & the sun is warmer, unless you’re like my mom & might very well be a vampire!
Even Max got into the spirit & bought me flowers; it definitely brightened our apartment. I LOVE fresh flowers, they’re so pretty, just be careful if you have cats the types of flowers you buy. I’m always worried about that now since I found out some flowers are fatal to cats!
Anyway, because spring means summer is just around the corner, I’ve been getting spray tans more frequently & I feel so amazing… I usually use Jergen’s self-tanner in between spray tans to keep up the color but lately I haven’t been because I got so many new scents from Bath & Body Works! So I’ve been a little pasty but I wanted some color for this past weekend.
Yesterday it rained basically all day so Max & I got sushi & stayed in & watched The Blacklist, fun night in. This weekend it’s going to be sunny & 85 so we will definitely NOT be staying in eating sushi & watching Netflix… So here are my tips for avoiding wrinkles, skin cancer & sunburn:
- Sunless tanner
- Sunscreen SPF 15-50
- Make up with an SPF
- Hats
- Shade (tree, umbrella, amoir, etc…)
- Sunglasses (eye get burnt, too)
& here are my tips for looking like a glowing beach goddess while still avoiding too much sun:
- Sunless tanner
- Tinted moisturizer
& my all-time favorite tip for a natural summer glow…
- SPRAY TAN
Be safe out in the sun & have fun!
That’s all…xxTay!
