Just got back from a much needed cycling class after this weekend…
So Friday was St. Patrick’s Day & the celebrating went on all weekend long, naturally! All of us had a blast even though we were freezing & there was till snow on the ground.
Friday night was super random but a lot of fun we ended up going out to a local Irish bar & met up with a few of our friends. After Katie left we tagged along with Courtney & Kenny to their house where we met their super adorable French bulldogs & Kenny made up southern gentleman drinks (my new favorite drink)! Then we headed over to another friend’s house for a birthday celebration. Max & I ended up slipping out to a pizzeria where we got a small pizza & split it in the car on the way back…
That being said I really need to work on balancing my healthy lifestyle on the weekends. Most of my unhealthy habits happen on the weekend & I need to change this ASAP. I am getting better with the exception of this weekend, though.
I think that every lifestyle should have balance. I ate healthy all day Friday & then indulged in something I really wanted. & the pretty much how the rest of the weekend went. Saturday I literally laid in bed almost all day… I made myself breakfast & fed the cats. Then when max woke up he made us breakfast in bed…(my 2nd breakfast for lunch)!
We had every intention of going to the gym but we just sat in bed, like didn’t even move to the couch. Then finally our friends texted us & we got our lazy asses up, went to Target & then ate at Chipotle before heading over to his friend’s house. We had healthy food all day but we didn’t move & then went & got burritos & burrito bowls!
Sunday, Max made breakfast in bed & then we headed out for St. Patty’s Day festivities.
We did a lot of walking & dancing, so I let that count as my work out for the day, but none of ate except for what we ate before we met up at 1p! Max found a street vendor & got a hot dog from the street cart, but other than that we did not eat til 8p…
I’m used to eating at least every 4 hours so my system was thrown way off!
When you eat like shit you feel like shit & that’s it. There’s no way around this fact unless you can balance it! If I want a slice of birthday cake I’ll eat healthy the rest of the day & leading up to the celebration. If I know we are ordering out for lunch at the office I will pack super healthy snacks & plan a light dinner. Everything should be a balance & in moderation!

All I can say about this weekend is: it was so much fun; I’m dying watching all my friends snap stories, & I can’t get enough lemon water & detox tea today!
Now I’m off to go grocery shopping for Taco Tuesday tomorrow!
That’s all…xx Tay!
P.S. No food diary today you get the picture…HA!
