My favorite thing to cook is stir-fry. Not only is it delicious but it’s so easy! I make stir-fry probably once a week. I know I’ve posted about stir-frys a lot on here but I wanted to dedicate an entire post to cooking up stir-fry!
This time I went to Trader Joe’s & picked up a stir fry mix. Usually I just use leftovers & mix it up with rice! So I thought this would be a special occasion because everything is fresh.

First thing first, I use rice for my stir-fry so you need to boil water depending on your number of servings. I always make enough for leftovers!
Once the water is boiled add the rice & follow directions on box/bag. Rice always takes longer than the actual vegetables that go into the stir-fry so don’t start frying the veggies with oil (I use olive oil for everything) until the rice is halfway cooked!
If you add different protein (I use tofu & chicken for Max) make sure you time out the amount of time it will take your protein choice to cook, as well. I make sure Max’s chicken is thawed during the day so it’s ready to be cooked by dinner time!
Make sure you have a big enough pan to add the rice & protein once the veggies are ready. This is when I add a little bit of soy sauce so it can be evenly distributed with all the ingredients. You can also substitute soy sauce for liquid aminos for a healthier version. You can also nix the rice or just have a side of rice if you are watching carb intake or substitute with cauliflower rice, which you can fry along with you veggies!

Now it’s time to serve! Grab a couple chopsticks & enjoy!
Happy Fitness Friday!
That’s all…xxTay!
