So yesterday was Tuesday aka Taco Tuesday so we obviously made tacos. Ironically enough, when we watched Vanderpump Rules the night before it was the first part of the wedding 2 part episodes & they had Taco Tuesday for their rehearsal dinner! Perfect timing.
Anyway, Max & I do tacos once a week so this week we decided to invite my sister & niece, Lindsey & Olivia, & my cousin, Alison. We went all out…minus the margaritas & Coronas, which was a disappointment because I have a margarita maker, but I forgot to pick tequila & beer up. So we had wine instead, which saved some calories & bloat, I suppose.
I made shrimp tacos & Max made the ‘original’ beef tacos. I went shopping Monday night & Max went shopping yesterday after work while I was cleaning, so it’s safe to say that we had more than enough food to go around…

WineBasically, the works when it comes to DIY tacos. I made the shrimp in coconut oil for a little extra flavor & it was delicious! Max was pretty basic: beef & water & taco seasoning. But he did everything else: set the table, put out all the ingredients, served us wine, & heated up the tortilla shells (I’m not kidding he is the hostess with the mostess). We jokingly gave him 4.5 stars out of 5 because he forgot to lay out the cheese while we were downing the whole container of Gauc…
All in all, so much fun & all of us were stuffed by the time Lindsey & Liv had to leave. Which was perfect & exactly what we wanted… No one leaves hungry!
After everyone left, I jumped in the shower & afterwards put on some self-tanner because I didn’t work out at all yesterday… So I figured a tan automatically makes you look 10lbs thinner, right?? Don’t worry I will be hitting the gym hard today.

P.S. shrimp can be very overbearing, I recommend 1 shrimp taco a piece…unless that’s your jam, my little brother can eat shrimp every day for the rest of his life & be perfectly content.
