I actually read a lot last month because what else was I going to do? I didn’t leave my house for 3 weeks… Here what I read:
This Time Next Year: 5/5 This book should have been a predictable Hallmark love story but it really kept me second guessing myself until the very last page! It was very well written and I really enjoyed the story. If you’re into coming of age romance fiction, you’ll enjoy this read!
If I’m Being Honest: 4/5 I mean, who doesn’t love a little high school fiction novel? Because I do. I could rewatch Gossip Girl til the day I die. Which is probably on the list of things GenZ determines old people watch LOL honestly though this book made me want to be a better person and if you’re into cute romance novels, which if you’ve been reading my book reviews you know I am, then you’ll enjoy this light and easy read.
Honey Girl: 3/5 I really couldn’t get into this book. It jumps around a lot but it does tell a good and well written story. But a story that’s been told before, a girl who goes to school then when she graduates doesn’t know what she wants to do with her life…umm yeah welcome to reality. Maybe it was too deep for me…like it was definitely written by someone who says ‘making love’ instead of ‘having sex’ if that makes sense LOL Honestly the only reason I finished this book was to figure out the point…
Girl With No Job: 5/5 OMG this book is hilarious. Like laugh out loud funny. I heard of the author because my cousin listens to her podcast so I started listening this summer when I’d go for walks and then all of a sudden she and her sister were everywhere LOL like when you go car shopping and all of a sudden you start seeing YOUR car everywhere. But for good reason she and her sister are hilarious and you will LOVE this book unless you don’t like humor or joy.
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before Series: 5/5 I just LOVE this franchise & the third and final movie was released on Netflix right before Valentine’s Day so I read the last one after the movie TATBILB: Always and Forever…idk why with these books I make myself wait ’til I’ve already seen the movie but they are so cute and sweet and I wish it didn’t end…like can’t we follow Lara Jean and Peter to college?!
Any suggestions for March?
That’s all…xxTay!
