The Inheritance of Orquídea Divina: 3/5 Honestly, I’m not really sure what this book was about LOL but I did end up liking the ending and the power of family throughout the book.
Pretty Things: 5/5 Whoa so good! Love all the twists although the ending was bitter sweet.
Passion on Park Avenue: 5/5 LOVE any book about friendship and romance! After three woman because friends after finding out they were all married/dating/sleeping with the same man, they become friends help each other realize who they are as individuals. The main character Naomi who has lived her life to get revenge on the family that ruined her mothers career then falls for the son and becomes great friends with the father. Such a cute romcom/book about forgiveness and friendship. However, (spoiler alert) who breaks up with someone who is in the hospital due to your father?!
Delilah Green Doesn’t Care: 5/5 Loved this one. Rom com starting with a bet you know how that’s gonna go. Delilah is brought back to her home town to take pictures for her sisters wedding where she runs into her high school crush, who also happens to be her sisters best friend. Heart warming family drama.
Pachinko: 4/5 If you have the time read this book. It’s like three in one but such a good story about culture, family and friendship.
Hello Girls: 5/5 What a heart warming yet sad book. Although it was thrilling I always get sad when young kids have sad lives.
Then She was Gone: 4/5 What weird little twists. I knew what was happening but I needed it spelled out for me LOL
The Girls: 4/5 The description says “thoughtful” more like thoughtless. The narrator is the main character describing her experience in a cult and literally having zero idea what was going on…then a lonely, lost and thoughtless young teenage girl welcomed by a cult very similar to to the Mansons.
The Cat Saved Books: 3/5 Eh.
Me Before You: 5/5 Sobbing. A heartwarming story about a newly unemployed woman who starts working for a well off family with a son who is not so well off. She is hired to care for Will, the so , who is a paraplegic and is absolutely miserable. Lu, the main character, lives a very small life and while working with Will is taught to branch out and live life to the fullest, no matter what her past hides.
Dial A for Aunties: 5/5 So cute. Kind of reminded me of Death by Adobe. I also love reading books about different cultures and anything that gets the aunties involved LOL
Marrying the Ketchups: 3/5 It was a good book with a good storyline and an even better ending. It just wasn’t captivating. I kept contemplating not finishing it.
The Hotel Nantucket: 5/5 I listened to this on the way home from Cape Cod and it was perfect! Ghostly. Friendship. Family. Romance. This book has it all.
