Bunny: 4/5 idk wtf I just read but I liked it LOL but really. If anyone knows wtf? Please let me know. K thanks!
The Dead Romantics: 5/5 Wait. Why am I crying?! This book was so good and original. I highly recommend.
Last Girl Ghosted: 4/5 The first half of the book was great! Definitely thought it was gonna be a little more of a creepy thriller but it’s twists and turns were a little different than what I had expected…pretty good though. Spoiler alert-definitely gave misery and Stockholm syndrome type vibes. I definitely did not see this ending coming. I personally would not go through the lengths the main character did to get to the bottom of being ghosted…let the ending of this book be a warning to just move on!
Twice Shy: 4/5 I thought this book was so cute!! Hot guy who’s shy?? Yes, please. The whole back and forth between Maybell and Wes is super cute. And the grand gesture at the end is really how all romcoms should end LOL
Balanced on the Blade’s Edge: 4/5 I never imagined I would enjoy this book as much as I did. I loved the fantasy and who doesn’t love a heroine lead with a bit of romance. I can’t wait to read the second book in this series.
You Are Not Alone: 5/5 How twisty and calculated. Not like any book I’ve ever read. From the beginning I didn’t know what to believe or what side to take. The final, although predictable, brought the whole story together and was the twist the book needed!
The Violent Delights: 3/5 A three was generous but anything relating back to Romeo and Juliet deserves a chance and this one wasn’t bad. Also, there was a reference to the the spelling of Juliet, which I found clever. I love when flirting is a white banter!
Thank You for Listening: 4/5 The beginning of this book is my worst nightmare LOL I will say catfishing is not a favorite trope of mine but the way this book played out I really enjoyed! I also listen to most of the books I read so it was a cute way of seeing the perspective from the speakers POV.
What You Wish For: 5/5 I loved this book. I loved the characters. I loved their back stories. I loved their romance. And I love when romcoms are deeper than meets the eye!
Not the Witch You Wed: 3/5 Eh. I love Halloween books anytime of the year but this one didn’t hit the target for me. I love enemies to lovers but you gotta give a little. Communication, please. I also love when the main characters have curves, not everyone has a tight ass from doing Pilates 6 days a week!
One of Us is Dead: 5/5 Love a good “housewife” book! This is one reminded me of Big Little Lies. Like we know someone is gonna die but who what where when and why?! The characters and the plot were so good I did not want to put it down!
All of Us Villains: 3/5 The description said it’s like Hunger Games, which looking back I didn’t really care for so I’m not sure why I thought I would like this book. A little too gory for me but I like the premise, I guess.
The Ex Talk: 5/5 Fake dating, sign me up. This one reminded me of a Christmas movie I watched and loved, as well. What I loved most about this fake dating trope was how many people were involved. You can always trust the people of the internet to find out everything!
Eight Perfect Hours: 3/5 Live a Christmas romcom but this was a little lackluster. There wasn’t much romance and way too much going on outside the main characters storyline.
We are the Brennans: 3/5 A lot of drama and not really worth it. Did I want to get to the bottom of it absolutely but there was a lot to unpack. I genuinely can’t remember why Sunday just up and left but there were too many secrets to keep track! The ending however was exactly what I was looking for.
The Bodyguard: 5/5 a powerful female lead? Count me in. So cute.
Fix Her Up: 4/5 cute romcom 🙂
Brining Down the Duke: 5/5 Loved this book. Reminded me of Bridgerton. I loved the two main characters, the fan club and the storyline.
My Year of Rest and Relaxation: 4/5 the ending of this book was so heartbreaking. The rest of the book was almost comedic with how pathetic the main character was.
That’s all…xoxoTay!
