The Mad Women’s Ball: 4/5 Disturbingly sad!
99 Percent Mine: 4/5 So good. Love the tough girl good guy trope. The friendships and relationships and storyline was really cute!
The Other Woman: 4/5 oh mother in laws…but wow! I first started this last year and couldn’t get into it but decided to try again and omg I’m so glad I did!
One Last Thing: 3/5 I’m not really sure what this book was about or what it was supposed to be about. Don’t like rating ‘memoirs’ but again idk what this book was supposed to be. It was just random stories about nothing relevant. It felt like an ongoing story your grandfather would tell you but without a point. You know when you go visit your grandfather and he tells a riddle that has a punch line or a moral that relates to the situation you’re going through. These stories just ended with no point.
Head Over Heels: 3/5 so wordy. Too much going on. Way too detailed when it came to gymnastics but not enough when it came to relationships. It felt like I was reading a screenplay of someone diary.
Witch Please: 4/5 A witchy romcom count me in!
The Paris Library: 3/5 “Accept people for who they are not who you want them to be.” I just could not focus. Nothing about this book really captured my attention. I love books about WWII and I did like how they incorporated learning French and different friendships and relationships but I didn’t make connections with the characters so the relationships didn’t mean that much to me.
A Season for Second Chances: 3/5 Super slow. I loved the main character and her determination to be independent. The romance wasn’t very romantic and I felt it was more of a friendship. I’m not sure where the chemistry was, it seemed she didn’t even like him tbh and I love enemies to lovers but this didn’t land for me.
Hook Line and Sinker: 4/5 LOVED!! Everyone knows I love a series that keep giving!
November 9: 4/5 A weird and different storyline but I loved it and how everything unfolded.
Red, White and Royal Blue: 5/5 Cute different worlds romcom. Also I love anything about royal families!
The Family Across the Street: 4/5 Woah I was not expecting that twist ending!
Daisy Darker: 4/5 Was really guessing who was behind everything up until the very last minute! Such a good thrilling book with a creepy twist.
One True Loves: 5/5 Omg I couldn’t stop reading this book. I loved/hated it but it ended how it was supposed to.
One Night on the Island: 3/5 Eh. A different type of romcom maybe because it had a realistic ending? I can’t really put my finger on why this wasn’t it for me. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t a must read.
The Wedding Party: 4/5 Enemies to lovers romcom.
Razerblade Tears: 2/5 Umm no. I actually wouldn’t have finished this if I didn’t listen to it. The whole godlike entitlement of the main character was super irritating. I don’t even remember how this ended.
Party of Two: 4/5 Main characters names are Max and Olivia, instantly loved. Olivia always seemed way too hard on Max imo you like each other, own it and be happy!
The Wife Upstairs: 4/5 WTF. First things first, I’m a scaredy cat and this was not a thriller a page turner, yes but not a thriller. I really didn’t figure anything out until the last second and it was a good ending.
All Your Perfects: 5/5 Best book I’ve ever read. I’ve never cried as much as I did reading this book. Even the part I wish didn’t happen was realistic and a punch to the gut. From the first chapter to the last I was lost in this book as if I was apart of it.
Float Plan: 4/5 Cute. Idk why but I pictured Keane a little grizzly/rough around the edges until we got to the romance part of the book. To be honest I did not feel any chemistry between the two characters until AFTER their moment either. The story was cute though and I enjoyed reading it.
The Good Sister: 5/5 WHAT?! Omg this is a great book. I really did not see this ending coming not even for a second. Must read!
Local Woman Missing: 5/5 Another great thriller! And another ending I did not see coming. Like at all! Omg so good. Definitely a must read!
Last Summer at the Golden Hotel: 4/5 Heartwarming and entertaining to read.
Balanced at a Blade’s Edge: 4/5 Not typically a book I would read but it was pretty good.
One Day in December: 5/5 Okay. My brain is still deciding wether this is okay or not lol but this story was written so well. Between the characters and the relationships and the story…it was just so good. Kind of like ‘In Five Years’ but less depressing and icky.
Twisted Love: 4/5 Idk why I liked this tbh. But I like what I like…a little dirty and a little thrill. What’s not to like?
Home Before Dark: 5/5 Another one is didn’t guess until the last second. Such a good thriller with twists I never saw coming!
The Wall of Winnipeg and Me: 5/5 I loved this book. The storyline, the characters etc I wouldn’t exactly call it a romcom but not fully a romance. Anyway, it was a good sloooooow burn.
That’s all…xoxo Tay!
