I feel like I haven’t been writing about what I’ve been up to lately. So I’m here to fill you in…
I’m starting a detox…not like a juice cleanse or only salads & egg whites but kind of like hitting the restart button!
I just got back from California for my birthday weekend & I swear I was never hungry…I’d wake up & breakfast was made & not just a small eggs & toast (normal) breakfast, I’m talking the works. Coffee was already made, eggs scrambled, toast toasted, fruit & cinnamon rolls. The next morning the same layout only this time with eggs Benny, my favorite! Snack time was never skipped…neither was lunch or dinner…or dessert!
So tomorrow I will be starting a 5 Day Detox to get my body back into my healthy eating patters. NOT saying I didn’t eat 5/6 times a day, I’m saying snack time wasn’t two scoops of ice cream in a waffle cone & fish tacos for every meal along with a jumbo margarita!
During my detox I will also be cutting out alcohol! Unnecessary added calories & bloat I do NOT need while recharging for fall. Yes, fall because with fall comes cinnamon donuts, pumpkin spice everything & PIES! So I need a bit of a jump start into the holiday season to set myself up for healthy eating & MODERATION because there’s no way I’m turning down a cinnamon donut or Christmas cookies, yeah I’m thinking ahead!
