Last year I got my teeth whitened & let me tell you…the after care is intense. I did not think the after process would be so high maintenance! Before my appointment I got a call about how to prep & how to care for 24 after the treatment…I almost canceled lol NO COFFEE! If you’ve read for a while you know I gave up coffee well I also gave up giving up coffee & now love starting my morning with a hot cup of Joe! Well for two days I had to figure it out & Excedrin helped a lot! She also told me I was to be on an all white diet & immediately started thinking of all the white foods there are to eat…there aren’t many! She did say I could have a glass of white wine but not for 12 hours…
That night for dinner I made myself a dinner of egg whites lol I had to google white foods & have made a list to give you guys options because I didn’t have that many, especially because I went to visit my best friend in Charlotte the very next day & we went out to eat for every meal! On the plane I had a banana & yogurt. For lunch, after we landed, I had sushi with no seaweed & got white fish. That night I definitely had white wine & tried to stay away from colored foods but my 24 hours was up.
I probably won’t get my teeth whitened again because I don’t think the comparisons were that drastic & could’ve been achieved with white strips but it was a nice kick start! If you are planning on getting your teeth whitened here are some options if you can’t think of any meals!
