There are a lot of things I like and a lot I don’t. One major thing I don’t like would be washing my hair. Yeah, I don’t really wash my hair. No surprise there I’m pretty sure I tell this fact to everyone I meet when they ask me about my hair.
I normally wash my hair about twice a week; sometimes I can get away with once a week depending on what’s going on that week & how my schedule lines up. But I just really like day after hair & day after next hair & you get the picture.
I mean I shower every day (don’t picture me in a shower cap because that is not the case) I just throw it up in a clip or a bun & do my thing. Sometimes the water splashing it can actually give it more waves (sometimes frizz) & volume once it’s dried.
I have such thick & long hair that washing it every day or every other day is just not ideal. It’s actually a waste of my time to spend an extra 10 minutes in the shower & an extra hour drying & styling once I get out.
When I do wash it I make sure it’s on a night that I have no plans so after the gym I can go home shower & go to bed. The morning after my pillow does it’s work I wake up with crazy curly hair but it works. Sometimes I run a straightener over it to kill the frizz but other than that it’s good to go.
If you don’t have naturally curly or wavy hair just do a couple French braids before bed and voila. A hair crimped can have the same effect and it doesn’t take as much planning but I try not to style my hair everyday!
