Summer is here & you know what that means! Lemonade stands popping up on every corner. Sometimes you just don’t want to waste calories on beverages! I know that’s where I struggle, it’s hard not to drink your calories when there are so many good options! Especially when it’s your niece & her best friend managing the stand. This is where you test your will power.
Okay, so you gave them the quarter & didn’t take the cup, I got you covered. I found a great lemonade recipe that is just as good with not even a fraction of the sugar!
Here’s what you’ll need!
1 cup fresh lemon juice which is about 6 fresh lemons juiced
1 teaspoon liquid/powdered Stevia (to taste)
1 lemon to slice and add to pitcher for extra taste & apperance
If you’re not worried about calories & want to start your own lemonade stand, here’s a fresh lemonade recipe I took for the Food Network:
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (5 to 6 lemons)
1/2 to 3/4 cup superfine sugar, to taste
I know what you’re thinking… They’re almost identical recipes but like I said, the first one is barely a fraction of the calories!
