My all time favorite shake of the summer!
This is seriously the perfect on the go “snack.” Especially when it’s nice out & you want to cool down & all you can think about are milk shakes! This drink takes about 2 minutes to mix together & you’re on your way!
All you need is Vanilla Almond milk, protein powder, water & ice.
It’s made with protein powder so it helps keep you full ’til lunch or dinner time & the vanilla helps crave those sweet summer cravings!
I start with a smaller BlenderBottle & start with a cup of Vanilla Almond milk. Next I scoop in the protein powder & add an ice cub. Lastly I fill the rest of the bottle with water & shake! It’s so refreshing & sweet.
If you’re a measurement person this is for you:
2 tablespoons of protein powder (I use Tone It Up & lately have been LOVING the Latte flavor)
1-2 ice cubes (I add ice because I just use tap water & like it cold)
1 cup water (sometimes I use a little more water if I want to make extra & split it through the day)
Shake it up & you’re good to go!
When I lived in Virginia, I would make this & sip on it when I worked in a boutique & drink it on my way home from work so I wasn’t tempted to grab a snack the second I got home & believe me it worked!
Now, I leave it in the fridge at work ’til I’m ready for my mid-morning snack & it’s nice & chilled for me. Other times if I’m in a real rush I just drink it for breakfast! I don’t do this that often because I’m a food breakfast person, so I always try to wake up early enough to eat a substantial breakfast…ALWAYS EAT BREAKFAST! Even if you have to stop at a drive-thru (me hungover) & grab a breaky sandwich, make sure you eat breakfast everyday!
