Guys! One of my best friends gets married this weekend! I can’t wait. This whole upcoming weekend is filled with so many activities! I also have to prep for this weekend because I’m in the wedding party so I have to look fabulous…AHA!I’m actually really looking forward to this weekend not only because Hollyann ties the knot but I also haven’t been having anything to look forward since Molly’s wedding!
This past weekend Max & I just did what we do every weekend. But we always have fun together because we enjoy hanging out with each other. So, let’s get into this weekend recap, shall we??
Thursday, I worked both jobs so I didn’t get home ‘til 10p because we got a new system at work so the sales lead didn’t know how to close… I was so hangry by the time I got home (I forgot to pack dinner) that my smile almost broke my face when I walked into the apartment & Max had the whole dining room table set up for taco night! I wish I took pictures, it was so cute! Max even made my meatless veggie taco meat for me. They were so good; I ate three tacos, washed my face & went straight to bed!
Friday, I had my final dress fitting for my gown after work & it fit perfect. I had a little time before hand so I ran over to Ulta & bought some new eyebrow powder, FINALLY, to match my new brown hair. I bought my shoes & went home. Max met me there but i was in no mood to do anything. i felt bad because it was Friday night but all I wanted to do was sleep! So my Friday night consisted of me falling asleep at 7p & Max watching sports all night in the living room because he felt bad leaving me home alone on a Friday night…AHA!
Saturday, Max & I had to work but made plans to go to fall fest afterwards. I left work & headed over to my mom’s to see her new kitten. She’s so cute & her name is Maisy. I left there to meet Max back at the apartment & realized I left my purse at work…therefore, no fall fest because I get IDed everywhere I go because I look like a child….AHA! So we went to our old stomping grounds for dinner, The Bonefish, to visit Jimmy. We left there & ended up at Court & Kenny’s house for the night, where Jimmy met us after he got out of work!
Sunday, Max, Macko, Jimmy & I went to brunch before the game. We just started going to this one little spot in Kenmore that is so good! I got eggs Benedict on homemade toast, it was delicious! As we were finishing up Court & Kenny walked in…they slept in so they missed the first round with us. Sundays are for football when you’re in this group so we headed over to Pete’s house to watch the game.
Once Court was done with breakfast I met her at Home Goods because I don’t care as much about football as I do shopping! I found the cutest bookcase for my living room. It was a little fragile but it was marked down to clearance so i had to buy it! Max said he could fix it so in my eyes it was a score even though the Bills lost!
I went back to Pete’s to pick up Max & hung out for a little bit while the Giants game ended. We left & got Thai food, which is usually our Sunday night ritual! Then binge watched The Blacklist ’til we fell asleep. If you read my blog regularly you’d notice this as a pattern.
This morning I got up for 5.45a spin & even squeezed in some yoga while my pumpkin spice bagel cooked! I cleaned out Pete’s fridge for $10 so on my way to work I stopped & got a smoothie because my purse was still at work. Now, we are reunited & it’s looking like the day is going to be a little slow because it’s pouring out!
Oh yeah, the Tone It Up 21 Day Challege kicks off today, so here’s to it!
Happy Monday!
That’s all…xxTay!
