Weekend Recap!

It’s been over a week since my last blog post! So here’s a loooong weekend recap on what I’ve been up to!

I started my NEW job last Tuesday…so yes, that is why I’ve been a little absent this past week. I originally started this blog because I’d be bored at work, so I’d read a lot of different blogs & finally that inspired me to start my own. I’d write all my posts at work & sometimes finish them up in bed at night, then I’d obviously take pictures in my spare time. Now, I am super busy & LOVE what I am doing at work, & there is no time to write or even think about what I’m going to write about…

I’m in training & transitioning from my last job to my current job & figuring out how to adjust to a 9-5! My new job is so different from my previous job & I couldn’t be happier! With ALL of this being said I realize I LOVE blogging. Even though I started it because I was bored I want to keep up with it because I thoroughly enjoy it & I LOVE the girls who continuously visit & comment & I LOVE reading their blogs, as well! In conclusion…AHA I am going to be a better blogger & post a lot more frequently!

Here’s to it…

Monday, was my last day at my old job…jk I went back today to help out so that they don’t fall behind. The new girl that took my place showed up for two days & never went back…so I did & will continue to ’til they find a second replacement!

Tuesday, I started my new job, which I LOVE! I know I said it already but I do.

Max got me flowers to celebrate starting my new job!

Wednesday, I got a spray tan.

Thursday, I got a headache & Max got me take out mac & cheese.

Friday, I met Max out for happy hour & then we headed to the Elmwood village to meet Courtney & Kenny for sushi!

Saturday, I went into work for half day (where I chipped my tooth just TALKING) & then met Max at the mall for some window shopping & dinner to celebrate my new job! Our next stops included picking up worms & meeting Court & Kenny out for a couple drinks! We didn’t stay at the bar long & ended up going back to their place & hanging out for the rest of the night listening to 90’s R&B!

Sunday, I went shopping with my mom & Olivia & cleaned my ENTIRE apartment (minus my closet/spare bedroom). While I had some laundry going, I met Leanne & Katie out for a walk along the river & a couple drinks!

Then a week went by & it was Monday again! I had to be at the vet by 7am to drop off Simba for his appointment to be fixed! Max picked him up at 4pm when they finally were allowed to release him & he’s doing well! Monday, August 14th was my cousin Cheryl’s birthday so my family & I were invited over to my aunt’s to celebrate her turning 26!

Because I woke up super early & was running late I didn’t have time to make a real breakfast! Let them eat cake!

Now, I’m sitting in bed with Simba & a face mask on my chin that decided to break out last week & stuffed off of too much thai food!
