I still can’t get over what a great weekend I had. So you guys get to read more about it…AHA! So let’s get back into where we left off!
Saturday morning was very relaxing. I didn’t set an alarm & it was still hard for me to wake up naturally. Not only was it relaxing but it was a slow moving morning, as well. I finally got out of bed a little after 10a & decided it was a pumpkin spice waffle kind of morning! If you don’t like pumpkin spice, you’re missing out!
After I ate breakfast & watched some TV (my Saturday morning ritual), I jumped in the shower & Met Hollyann & the rest of the girls at the nail salon. Hollyann set up appointments for all of us to get our nails done together. I opted for a pedicure because I already had gotten a manicure!
While we were drying our nails one of the girls mentioned that we had to finish up because we’d be leaving in 30 minutes for the reception. This came as a bit of a shock to me because I thought it started 3 hours later… So I left the salon with my foam slippers in an attempt to save time & get ready in 20 minutes before Nicole came to pick me up! (My hair was still wet, hence the half up half down hair style, the top knot it all wet…AHA!)
We drove out to the venue for the rehearsal & then to the restaurant where the rehearsal dinner was being held. Max met us there on time…aka super early. I told him to be there at 6p even though the dinner didn’t start ’til 6.30p because he’s always usually late (we have that in common) & he actually showed up at 10 to 6p…AHA! Ooops!
The restaurant was so cute & everyone had a great time. I would definitely go back there with Max for date night! Dessert was an apple pie with ice cream which was delicious!
Everyone started saying goodbye after the plates were cleared, so Max & I left for the mall…Max didn’t have an outfit for the wedding yet & was planning on going the morning of the weeding to get it… We cashed out at Express at exactly 8.59p….a retailers dream…NOT!
Jimmy was working at the Bone Fish so obviously we went to visit him & have a couple drinks. We didn’t stay too long though because we had a big day ahead of us…stay tuned!
Happy Friday!
That’s all…xxTay!
