This past weekend was so much fun! Pretty much go go go! Friday I had an interview right after work & then went to the mall to get a dress for a shower that was Sunday. PS I got the job!
Friday night after Max got home we went to Red Lobster because Max had a gift card he got his dad for Christmas (in 2013) & never gave him…So at least it went to use!aha Saturday, was my grandpa’s annual pizza party, so I drove out to my grams Saturday morning with a loaded car. It’s BYOI (bring your own ingredients); I brought Pineapples!
My grandparents have a brick oven that my grandpa & uncles built a few years ago, so they get cooked in there. My grandfather used to own a pizzeria & my dad & all his siblings worked there growing up! My uncle John was in charge of cooking the pizzas, while everyone else was in charge of the toppings! The annual pizza party is probably my favorite tradition my family has everyone is always welcome!
There’s still no beach but that didn’t stop anyone from swimming in the lake!
Sunday, was Amanda’s bridal shower brunch & it was so adorable! Amanda looked stunning, her dress was white & had a beaded colar & she wore a Kylie Jenner lip kit in the shade Kristen! Her daughter & niece were there & are both under 8 so they kept everyone entertained by helping with gifts & playing with each other (they’re both going to be the flower girls)! They had games & I even won a bottle of wine!
That night was the Sam Hunt concert & Max’s brother Adam rented out a limo bus for 8 of us!aha It was so much fun. Sam Hunt really knows how to put on a great show! His openers were Maren Morris & Chris Jansen. I’m now obsessed with Maren Morris’s song Rich, it’s so catchy! It was a great night the only downside was…I gave Max my debit card to buy merch & he accidently lost it & our tickets… Now, I keep forgetting to call to cancel it & get a new one! I’ll have to put that on my: to do list for today…
Monday night all of us went to the Bison’s game & got to sit in a suite thanks to Katie’s boyfriend Kyle & there was free pizza! Last night was our kickball tournament & we won our first game and lost the second…but we still celebrated with margaritas! Tonight I’ll be going to bed extra early!aha
