Frozen everything!
Don’t get me wrong, I love fresh food but when you work 9-5 it’s hard to go shopping everyday to get the veggies & protein you need! Especially in the winter when you just want to be home in comfy clothes, sipping wine & watching Christmas movies LOL
I do buy some fresh produce but I just feel guilty when it goes bad so I mostly buy frozen… Sorry not sorry! Better than take out every night…is what I tell myself…
Or going out because it can be pricey…
Anyway, here’s what my typical grocery list looks like!
- Eggs
- Quinoa
- Salmon
- Broccoli
- Sweet potatoes
- Bagels
- Cream cheese
- Hummus
- Carrots
- Salad mix
- Oat milk
- Mango salsa
- Frozen shrimp
- Frozen veggies
- Frozen fruit
- Avocado
- Canned beans/corn/tuna
- Something chocolate
- Cookies
- Wine
- Beer
And my favorite frozen meal…just remember to let things thaw unless it’s veggies, not the end of the world if you don’t thaw them but fish or chicken…unless you don’t want to eat right away ALWAYS try to remember to pull your protein out in the morning!
