I love meal prepping. I literally order more from restaurants or take-out just so I can have leftover to meal prep. The other night Max bought me a large salad with dressing on the side (he just knows), so that I could meal prep my lunches for the next couple of days! I will make dinner & make completely different meals at the same time to meal prep for lunch lol…kill two birds with one stone! Okay…maybe I don’t actually love meal prepping but I love when my meals are prepped. LOL
Last week I went crazy, though…I was making dinner & I meal prepped my lunches for the rest of the week & weekend (I work some weekends) & SMOOTHIES!
Pro-tip: meal prep your smoothies, so they’re ready to go right into the blender in the morning when you are running late or just don’t feel like measuring out all your ingredients!
Meal prep saves so much time when it comes down to the meals you want! I’d rather sleep-in before work than wake up & freshly make my lunch for the day EVERY morning… I make breakfast & that’s about it. & if you don’t want to make you breakfast, meal prep your smoothies! Or meal prep breakfast. There are so many different recipes for breakfast, snack, lunch & dinner…EVEN dessert! Pinterest should be your best friend when it comes to easy recipes for meal prep!
The first TWO weeks of my new job I ate out for lunch everyday…nooo my wallet & my jeans were like WTF? Don’t get me wrong I like a nice treat yo self meal every once & a while. Max & I LOVE going on date nights & eating out but NOT everyday! It’s a treat when it doesn’t happen all of the time…unless it’s iced coffee then you do you 😉
